After a year of searching North Idaho for a place to plant their roots, Luke and Nancy Croll discovered Bonners Ferry in September 2017. With faith guiding them, they knew that this was the right town for them and made the decision to raise their family here and call Bonners Ferry home.
A little more than a year ago, in December 2017, Luke and Nancy became the proud owners of the longstanding Baby Go Round, which had been serving the Bonners Ferry community since 2010. “We love the business model. Every time we make a sale, someone in the community gets paid,” says Nancy. “We are so blessed every time we hear our customers say how thankful they are for this store! It is wonderful to provide a place for people to shop that is close by and inexpensive.”
Just last month, the couple decided to change the name to Boundary Consignments to be more descriptive of what they do—more encompassing. “We waited a year to ensure people knew we hadn’t closed—that we were here to stay,” according to Nancy. The couple adds that they wanted the community to vote for the name, because they wanted people to feel like it is their store. “Because it is theirs,” Nancy adds. “We love Bonners Ferry and so thankful to be a part of it!”
At Boundary Consignments, they provide the Bonners Ferry community a great place to consign and shop clothing for children, women and men, as well as shoes, accessories, toys and baby equipment.
In addition to the impeccable quality customers will find, the Crolls are pleased to offer their customers items at a low price point.
“We think of ourselves as the family department store,” smiles Luke. “It’s our aim to always have every size of all the necessities in a good variety. We want people to be able to shop in one spot for their whole family and not break the bank.”
It has been just more than a year since the Crolls took over the business, yet they’ve continued to hear positive feedback from those who stop in since day one. “We saw how much this store impacted the community and we wanted to keep that going,” says Nancy.
The Crolls have settled in well as business owners in the community, and they have been enjoying every minute of it. They are also involved in giving back to their community, donating to several local charities and helping wherever possible with sponsoring school and other local activities. Clothing that comes into the store with small stains and a little wear is donated to local clothing pantries; a true gift for those who are unable to purchase much-needed items for themselves or family members.
Now that winter has officially arrived, and if you are still in need of those cold-weather items, now is the perfect time to head to Boundary Consignments. It’s the ideal place for families in Bonners Ferry to shop fashionable, quality items for the entire family—for a fraction of the retail price!
“We are extremely thankful that God led us to this business for purchase. It is a perfect fit for us, and we love being a blessing to this community.”
Luke and Nancy invite you to stop by the store Monday through Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
