Raising the Bar on Customer Service and Satisfaction

collision repair

Just last month, Bonners Ferry was introduced to North Idaho Collision Repair Center, located at 148 David Thompson Drive. Here, owners Shane Florea and Mindi Durland offer a full-service collision repair and detail center.

Shane, owner and body technician, and office manager and estimator, Kenny Baker, have more than six decades of auto-body experience between them. Combined with a talented painter, Shaun Eggleston, who has an eye for detail, and Mindi, co-owner and front desk, they are ready to offer the best in both customer and auto services.

“From the time we acquire a vehicle and throughout the repairs, we provide terrific customer service and update the customer during the entire process,” says Mindi.

The shop features a state-of-the art paint center with a Blowtherm booth than can cure PPG paint in 20 minutes. In addition, they use the most modern technology and tools including a Pro Spot welder to put factory welds back into cars, a CCC estimating system, Velocity Laser Measuring, a 22-foot frame rack that can handle the small economy cars to the largest long-bed extended cab pickup! At North Idaho Collision Repair Center, they will also repair and replace and can take care of AC needs with their machine that works on R34 and R1234YF refrigerant, which new cars come equipped with.

They accept all insurance estimates or can write them for you right there at the shop. Once a claim is filed, it is their goal to make the repair process as easy and painless as possible for their customers.

“We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service. We will treat each customer with care and respect, understanding that a collision is often physically and emotionally traumatic,” says Mindi. “Our goal is to lighten the burden of that with our thoughtful service and timely and expert collision repair.”

The team at NICRC enjoys the satisfaction of taking a vehicle that has been in an accident and restoring it back to its former beauty. As they know cars are one of the most costly investments one can make—and that investment depreciates greatly in value once wrecked—they believe that with the talent in their shop, they are able to restore that value through the comprehensive repairs they do.

Opening a business in Bonners Ferry is a dream come true for the entire team. Shane grew up in Bonners Ferry, moving to Denver in 1982 to do auto-body work on some of the high-end cars like Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, Land Rover and Lexus. He recently moved back to the area to continue his love for auto-body repair right here in his hometown. Kenny has called Bonners Ferry home his entire life! Mindi moved here in 2002 because she fell in love with the area and the community and considers Bonners Ferry home. Shaun moved to North Idaho four years ago to be with his fiancée, Kirsten, and currently resides nearby in Sandpoint.

In addition to being part of the business community, both Shane and Shaun are actively involved in helping addicts and alcoholics achieve and maintain sobriety. Shaun also mentors inmates at Bonner County Jail through the AA program. Kenny is one of our local volunteer firefighters and is our Rotary president.

Those looking for a reliable, trustworthy and experienced auto-body shop right here in Bonners Ferry, look no further than North Idaho Collision Repair Center.
