Annual Gun and Horn Show returns to the Boundary County Fairgrounds February 10 - 12 By Jillian Chandler

Annual Gun and Horn Show

Kootenai Valley Sportsman’s Association presents the Gun & Horn Show, with 2023 marking its 30th year! Held at the Boundary County Fairgrounds the second weekend in February, you won't want to miss the vendors, raffles, food and fun. Whether you're looking to buy, sell or trade, this annual event has it all.

This year’s show will bring in 50 vendors, featuring everything from firearms and firearm accessories, to hunting, survival, and horn scoring.

“The show is put on by the KVSA, who are a nonprofit, and donate all proceeds to youth hunting, 4-H and other outdoorsman projects in Boundary County,” shares Kevin Dye, promoter and KVSA president. “You can come to our meetings at the gun range the first Monday of every month at 6pm to see what we are up to!”

Gun & Horn Show dates and times are Friday, February 10, noon to 6pm; Saturday, February 11, 9am to 6pm; and Sunday, February 12, 9am to 2pm. Those interested in entering their horns in the Boone & Crockett Certified Scoring Horn Contest must do so between noon and 6pm Friday or 9am and noon Saturday.

For additional details about the event, or to find out more about the Kootenai Valley Sportsman’s Association, visit KVSportsman.net, or contact Kevin Dye at 208.290.5970 or dyepainting@gmail.com.

Daily admission is just $5 and can be purchased on-site.

When it comes to what Kevin hopes attendees will experience at this year’s Gun & Horn Show, he says, “That they have fun, find a hard-to-find item, and enjoy your stay in Boundary County.”

Bring the family and spend time among friends and neighbors at the Gun & Horn Show February 10 through 12.
